The web store offered sells nutritional supplements in the online consumer market. The current offer focuses on a specific type of dietary supplements. The demand for nutritional supplements is enormous and is expected to increase further.
The complete process, from production to delivery, is outsourced. An extensive HACCP system has been set up in collaboration with a consultant in the market that makes it possible to manage the company with only a postal address to establish the company. This system also enables the entrepreneur to import food supplements or have them produced under their own label, both inside and outside the EU.
At the moment a certain product is offered, made from a plant that grows in India and the extract of the roots is attributed various positive effects. This product is in stock and can be delivered to the following countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, France and England. The company is positioning itself as the cheapest provider in Europe. This is possible due to the low-asset approach, as well as the HACCP system that is set up to be able to purchase outside of Europe. There is a good relationship with a supplier that offers a wide portfolio of products at good prices and meets HACCP standards. Roughly it can be said that the products can be sold for three times the purchase value and still be the cheapest seller of the EU.
At the moment, the English and Dutch market is mainly served, both with a daily turnover of about one hundred euros if online marketing is live. It is fairly easy to expand to German-speaking countries and France since websites have already been set up and translations have been done in those languages. The fixed costs of stock and insurance are about 170 euros per month.
To make the current turnovers and profits grow, money and a small team are needed. The company was set up by an engineer who knows a lot about the optimization of processes and quality procedures, but has little knowledge of, or experience in, marketing and e-commerce
The current entrepreneur is willing to (continue to) provide knowledge and experience after the takeover, any partnership or supervisory board can also be discussed. The new owner can also be trained to become a full HACCP master.
