Two related online platforms that have been serving the Dutch-speaking community in Spain for nearly two decades are being offered for acquisition. The ecosystem consists of a marketplace with more than 4,100 registered advertisers and a forum with approximately 7,800 registered members. The marketplace features around 340 active listings at any given time, while the forum operates with a paywall that generates an average of 1.25 paid registrations per day.
The user base consists primarily of Dutch and Flemish people who live, work, invest, or run businesses in Spain. On the marketplace, advertisers focus mainly on real estate, vacation rentals, emigration and insurance services, legal assistance, and administrative support. The revenue model combines paid ads, add-ons, promotions, subscriptions, and premium listings with the forum paywall.
Operations are largely automated; hosting and periodic maintenance constitute the main recurring cost items. Upon transfer, domains, databases, software, and source codes will be fully transferred, including guidance and handling of the migration. The current owner is selling due to a shift in focus toward other activities, which has limited the commercial rollout of existing features to date.
