EC Electronics Ltd (Rockpool) acquired Liad Electronics
EC Electronics announces the acquisition of Liad Electronics through Rockpool Investments. BusinessforSale.eu's sister company OvernameAdvies assisted the sellers in this transaction.
Breda-based Liad Electronics has been acquired by EC Electronics Group, a global supplier of electronics manufacturing services (EMS). The acquisition will be financed by a debt package from Shawbrook Bank and further financing from Rockpool Investments.
Liad Electronics - Local leader in PCB assembly
Liad Electronics Breda BV specializes in printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) for high-tech customers with advanced requirements for the assembly of PCBs. The acquisition of Liad gives the group a greater presence in continental Europe and more production capacity. The Group's Dutch operations will continue to be overseen by Liad's CEO Rick Meesters, who will reinvest in the group and become a member of the board of directors. This is the second acquisition following Rockpool's investment in EC Electronics in September 2022.
The takeover of Liad
Phil Simmonds, CEO of EC Electronics: “We are very excited about Liad Electronics joining the EC Group and working with the incredibly experienced team there. Liad will now form the basis for the next phase of our growth plans in continental Europe and be an important part of the Group's future success.”
